FAQs

What Do Your Class Sessions Look Like?

  • We offer a school year program that runs from September through May/June, as well as a separate summer program featuring classes and camps. Registration is separate for each program.

How Long Are Classes?

  • Class lengths range from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the dancer’s age, level, and style. Classes meet once per week, and dancers are welcome to enroll in multiple classes.

How Does Tuition Work?

  • For our school year program, tuition is divided into 10 installments. At registration, the first two installments are due, followed by monthly payments on the 15th from October through May.

  • Summer classes and camps are paid in full at the time of registration.

Can I Take a Trial Class?

  • During the school year, new students may take one complimentary trial class based on availability. Because many classes fill before the season begins, trials may not be available in every class.

  • During the summer, we do not offer trial classes. Many summer classes can be registered for individually, allowing dancers to try a class without committing to the full summer.

  • Email info@danceloudoun.com to inquire about a trial class.

What If I Need Help Choosing the Right Class?

  • We’re happy to help! Email info@danceloudoun.com with your dancer’s age and any previous dance experience. No prior experience is necessary. We can recommend the best class options, and you can choose the day and time that works best for your schedule.

What Do Dancers Wear to Class?

  • Please refer to the dress code above for attire and shoe requirements for each class.

What Should My Dancer Wear for a Trial Class?

  • If you do not already have dance attire or shoes, comfortable athletic clothing that allows for easy movement is perfect. For hip hop, please wear sneakers. For other styles, dancers may wear socks or go barefoot for their trial.

How Do I Check My Dancer’s Enrollment?

  • Log in to the Parent Portal using the email address associated with your DAL account to view your dancer’s current enrollment.

Do Dancers Have Opportunities to Perform?
